The Master Trainer & Practitioner Conference offered a rare opportunity to step back and collectively envision what it will take to move Vermont's culture of accountability forward. We have captured our thinking below. Individuals interested in taking part in the next Community of Practice conversation can reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org to be included.
The community of practice discussion revealed that:
We need to connect with others who are already doing this work and share resources, challenges, and success stories. We want to meet in person, and have online repositories for information and dialogue.
To be successful we must expand our partnerships, bringing funders, business, and other sectors into this conversation. We want grant applications that reflect this philosophy and this language.
We want to figure out what collective impact looks like in Vermont, and how those initiatives interact with one another.
We must figure out a transition plan for the change in administration in state government, and a way to showcase RBA and train legislators in its use.
We need access to good, reliable, consistent data.
